Terms of use

1. The service

Syndiplex is a management tool for Québec condo associations: maintenance log, funds, insurance, registers and deadlines. We may evolve the service and fix or remove features.

2. What Syndiplex is not

Syndiplex helps you track your obligations but does not replace legal, accounting or technical advice, nor studies done by professionals (contingency fund study, replacement-value appraisal, etc.). Reminders and indicators are informational: you remain responsible for your association's compliance with the Civil Code of Québec and its declaration of co-ownership.

3. Your account

Provide accurate information, protect your password and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity on your account.

4. Your data and content

The data you enter and documents you upload remain yours (or your association's). You grant us the limited right to host and process them to provide the service. You warrant you are entitled to upload them, including to share the contact details of people you add. Our handling of personal information is described in the privacy policy.

5. Trial, subscription and payment

• 30-day free trial, no credit card, with a single 14-day extension available.
• Monthly or annual subscription based on the number of units; prices shown are in Canadian dollars and applicable taxes are added.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Unless required by law, amounts paid for a period already started are not refunded.
• Changing tier (number of units) takes effect at renewal.

6. When a subscription ends

Without a valid subscription, access to the data is suspended. It is kept for 60 days, then deleted, unless you resubscribe. Export your registers before the paid period ends.

7. Acceptable use

You may not bypass the service's security, access it without authorization, upload illegal or malicious content, or use it in a way that harms other users. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

8. Availability and liability

We aim for a reliable service, but it is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. Changes

We may change these terms; for a significant change we will notify you in advance in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept it.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada; the courts of the district of Montréal have jurisdiction, subject to your consumer rights. Questions: info@syndiplex.com.
